This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information when you visit our website, submit an enquiry, or place an order. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order details, design files, and messages submitted through contact or artwork enquiry forms. When you purchase, payment details are processed by Stripe and we do not store full card numbers.

Cookies and marketing tags

We use essential cookies required for the site to function, including session and checkout cookies. With your consent, we load Meta (Facebook) and LinkedIn marketing tags to measure advertising performance. We do not use product analytics, session replay, Google Analytics, PostHog, or other optional trackers. You can accept or decline marketing tags through our consent notice.

How we use your information

We use your information to process orders, provide quotes, communicate about production and delivery, issue tax invoices, respond to support requests, and, where you have consented, measure marketing campaign effectiveness. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and retention

Order, tax, payment, and audit records are retained as required for legal and accounting obligations. Enquiry records and uploaded artwork are deleted automatically 90 days after the enquiry is closed. Account deletion anonymises optional identity fields while preserving records needed for tax and compliance.

Disclosure

We share information with service providers who help us operate the business, including payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, hosting, shipping carriers, and Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse of enquiry forms. Cloudflare's processing for Turnstile is described in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum. These providers handle data only as needed to perform their services.

Your rights and contact

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or ask us to delete enquiry data, by contacting admin@funkyneon.com.au. If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you may lodge a complaint with us or with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
